Duvanco Homes Inc. began as a custom home builder that employed skilled workers, the best building techniques, and use of quality materials. The "Duvanco Difference" is now a hallmark of quality in the Bay of Quinte Region. While expanding its vision to include building developments, the company has maintained this commitment to quality.
Duvanco's desire to excel in all areas includes the marketing of the homes it builds. Already dominant on local radio, Duvanco recognized the potential for online marketing to increase the company's reach, both locally and beyond.
With an eye to the potential for future growth, Duvanco wanted to develop a position as a leading home-builder in the Quinte region. Duvanco approached Build Marketing for assistance in establishing and maintaining its social media platforms and creating a recognizable brand in a crowded home-building market.
We met with key members of the Duvanco team over several meetings to learn about their business, customers, and area market before presenting a social media strategy. The strategy included taking over management of Duvanco's existing Facebook and Twitter feeds to do regular posting and promotion.
Our social media management process includes maintaining regular contact with Duvanco employees through scheduled meetings and email. By doing this we're able to share relevant content that interests and engages homeowners while promoting the Duvanco Difference.
In addition, we have set up and managed Facebook and Google ads to market Duvanco Homes to targeted buyers outside their region.
As their audience grew, it became apparent that Duvanco's existing website wasn't delivering the relevant content home-buying prospects were looking for. We developed a new website for Duvanco which allows them to showcase the features of the developments and homes they're building. This includes the ability to showcase lot plans, floor plans, elevation drawings and full descriptions of available home features.
The new website also included blogging and news story sections to increase Duvanco's ability to add relevant content for developing increased interest and online traffic. A partners sections allows them to showcase the trades and service professional who contribute to creating the Duvanco Difference.
In less than 4 years Build Marketing increased Duvanco's Facebook following by 1,762% and its Twitter followers by 3,420%, setting them well above local competitors.
Currently, in what is a robust housing market, Duvanco are regularly selling out of available homes. Many recent Duvanco home buyers have come from outside the local region and Duvanco is poised to continue to reach new home buyers both locally and elsewhere, using their online marketing platforms.
